any suggestions? ... preferable not outdoors or computer related?

This place is a bit boring. I can't understand why you can't have a bit of banter or wind someone up without cursing. It happens in real life, no one gets hurt and it
adds spice to the whole thing. I'm not saying it should be no holds barred, keep the ban on foul language but ah forget it, everyone here just wants a happy go lucky discussion board where no-one offends anyone else. I'm sorry, but I find it incredibly boring when everyone acts the same.:dunno:

Can someone please explain to me what is regarded as 'flaming' and what as just a mild insult?
Mr. Hobart Sir, could your comments about thingermajig appearing Stupid not be regarded as light flaming? If he retaliated, then is it a 'flame war'?
I have seen on other topics that people have insulted eachother, yet those occasions where not 'flame wars'. I'm not trying to be a smart*rse, merely inquiring.

Where as flaming would be a continuous insult trade to the point that you piss off other posters and end up getting banned.

flaming is pretty much when you continually post attacks (slagging's) against other users, now we dont mind the odd slag every now and again everyone's entitled to there own opinion/views etc however continually acting the muppet is the fastest way of getting banned.
