    Hi!
Heres a question that may have been asked somewhere before:
I'm going abroad (europe if that's counted as abroad any more).
I want to bring my SKY+ (I'll keep an address here).
What are the pitfalls/problems I might encounter?
I Can think of one i.e.: if I need to ring SKY, they have caller ID and will know I'm not in the ol' sod anymore. But can I survive without the phoneline?

it would be the same as with a standard digibox. turn off caller id when you make a call

Sky+ doesnt require a phone line. only subsidised digiboxes do and you have to buy Sky+ outright

Will they install SKY+ here without a phoneline?

The contract say's a phoneline is required for 12 months.

What are the problems if you disconnect the phoneline?

the phone line is for subsidised equipment. when i paired my card with the Sky+ box there was no problem with no phone line not being connected

Officially Sky say otherwise but so far it has not been an issue.
