streaming media file from pc to axim

    I'm considering buying an Axim X3i and one of the features that I want is to be able to stream media from my PC wirelessly to Media Player on the Axim. The objective is to store all my music on the PC and then connect over my wireless network, select the music track and listen to it on the Axim or via a hi-fi that it might be connected to.

    Does anyone know if this is possible? Has anyone done this already?

    sure - works a treat for me - although you may run into issues with battery life...

    resco explorer allows you to map shares on the desktop when connected in ad-hoc mode (remember to change the setting so they are 'seen' under My Device on the PPC file system)

    you can then access the media files using Windows Media Explorer, or more specialised audio player like withMP3...
