urgent help needed

OK I had too much to drink the other week, came home had a dream that i was geting sick...woke up to a pool of puke surrounding my bed.
Used carpet shampoo and still the smell is there.
To cut to the point theres a potential 'wana come back to mine' meeting happening Tuesday night and i don't want my boozy night to sabotage my chances.
How do i get the smell out of the room.It s disquisting!

Same thing happened to me a while ago. Don't use Detox (Detol?), it stinks the room up for aaaages. Best bet is probably Fabreeze or something.

You could try the towel trick, it works quite well for smoky smells.

Get a wet towel (not dripping wet mind) and swing it around your head for a while. In case you think I'm joking - it does work. You look silly but it works for cigarette smoke as it tends to pick up the smoky dusty particles, so it may work for those other type of smells too.

Good luck with the totty. If she is really perfect she'll love you for your smells 'n all!

well i've heard that a bowl of baking soda left out over night gets rid of the smell, at least i've heard it used to get rid of the smell of smoke after parties, never used it but maybe worth a go, it cant hurt after all. Since it is now Tuesday though i think that time may be a bit short but ah well, maybe you can try the baking soda after your next puke experience.

And best of luck with the 'back-to-mine' tonight. should the smell fail to have removed itself i advise either a large quantity of alcohol to dull the senses or very, very hot and spicy food to maybe kill the senses for the night.
