    Probly isnt the place for this but Ill post anywho , Anyone have any alternative software to the sony "openMG" you get with the sony minidisks ? doing my head in , tis crap crap crap,

    There's a program called SimpleBurner which as far as i know is free - it also doesn't enforce copyright protection which is another plus.

    Indeed the Sony Software is quite annoying. It's really offputting when you change playlists as often as I do.

    as long as you have open mg 2.2 installed and real one player you can go to 'my devices' in real one and as long as your netmd is plugged in 'add' it to real one. you then just drag and drop files into it from there.

    simple burner is a pain in the hole imho, and open mg does the job for my needs.

    not sure about copy protection though.

    I have OpenMG for my sharp NetMD as well and it is one right pain in the hole. It's the most unfriendly software..

    yeah it is, but you the whole point is you won't be using it, you just need it installed for Real One to see the NetMD.
