Help mounting NTFS volumes in Redhat 9

Right, I'm not very good with Linux, and I just swapped Mandrake 9.2 for Red Hat 9 because I couldn't get my network card going under Mandrake. But Red Hat's no better, while I now have network access it refuses to mount my NTFS volume saying "volume type not supported." So, can you tell me, how do I go about fixing this, I couldn't find anything of use in the Help files. I only need read access, RW's not important.

    Thanks in advance.
