Last time I checked, TV didn't contain nicotine, nor did it come with an addiction warning. Lazy channel surfing syndrom?

This reminds me of two other crazy lawsuit stories.. Presumably (and with good reason) in the US.

the guy who sued Red BullTM because it didnt give him wings.

And a crazy old lady who had a cat. the cat got wet so she, *ahem, put it in the microwave to dry off.:eek: nuff said......anyway way she sued the microwave company for not puttting a warning on it telling people not to put cats or other animals in it...Im pretty sure she won as well....:dunno:

have my doubts about whether this is an urban legend or not, but when i heard the story the reason the old woman won the lawsuit was because the microwave companies slogan was "it will do everything your ovan will do" and so the story goes that the old woman genuinely did use to put her dog/cat in the ovan to dry it off.

Well dont worry. In a few years he will live on the moon and hopefully leave us all alone.

Its amazing how people can be so stupid. Also the fact that people in America cannot seem to accecpt responsibility for their own misfortune/problems/idiocy and insted sue someone else claming it was their fault and not their own. Lets hope it doesnt spread across the atlantic....

Unfortunately, there is a bit of a compo culture in Ireland as well, though no where near as bad as America. It's usually ppl claiming to have fallen in shops/on the streets or claiming sb else backed into their car and so on.

****ing compo culture. Remember when I was a kid, playgrounds disappearing bit by bit (starting with the fun things like the swings & slide) because parent's were suing the council for Little Johnny's scraped knee.

Also noone to my knowledge has sued for porn addiction, I was saying that's the next logical step for this guy once he gets his computers and BB.
