Ok so ive been living in holland for about 20 months now and im just back since Christmas. I couldnt find work before i left 'cause of the massive down turn in the economy and all, and wasnt working in IT in holland either. Im still fairly clueless as to whether the situation has improved at all, and is there much work out there at the moment? Im a linux geek so im looking for work in something along those lines.

Linux geek? Heh. If you wish to make it in IT, you should be proficient with all major operating systems. Depending on the area you are looking for, and I am assuming some form of network administration as you are a "linux geek".

There is alot of employment in the IT sector of the market, but it is very competitive. Providing you have certs to backup your claims, I'm sure you would have no problem in finding what you are looking for.
