The gods have to eat, and when they do they can eat what they want without the consequences of fat, toxins, grease, etc.
    So i think they would eat;
1): Crisp sandwiches (taytos inside a sandwich).
    2): Spicey wedges.
    3): Battered sausages.
    4): Chinese noodles.

The list is endless, but i couldnt be buggered.

chocolate spread and banana sandwich. preferably in a vienna roll.

i know for a fact that my god's representative on earth, a.c bhaktivedanta swami prabhupada (His Divine Grace of Hare Krishna) liked this the most.
but never eat mushrooms, because they are a fungus and create ignorance because they grow in decomposing waste.
he believes you are what you eat so thus the nutella sandwich is not quite the food of gods, but the food of gods men on earth.

how could i not have convinced you to join?

Indeed the Cheese and Onion flavour is preferred by THE GODS, but never had they heard of such ludricous eating behaviours as to involve cheese in the blessed threesome [bread, butter, crisps].
Go forth and buy Taytos, for the insane will inherit the bread...

tayto's for bread, king's for-a-eatin' definitly. although the tayto people seem to be including less and less good crisps and more of those horrible black hard ones.

Roast chicken and tomato ketchup sandwiches...or failing that...roast beef, mustard, tomato and cheese&onion crisps in a roll...mmm soooo gooooood!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 898 ✭✭✭Winning Hand

    Spicey wedges?
I dont think so. Unless the gods sit around doing nothing wedges are not the thing to be eating. They give a mother of all stomach cramps which isnt good while your working stacking shelves.

Anyway everyone knows that chipper chips floating in vinegar is the nicest thing ever, all big and greasy, but no ketchup. It is prolly the only fast food i dont drown in ketchup. A big juicy steak medium well with enourmous amounts of ketchup comes a close second smile.gif

Although those fuppin chipsticks tend to to attach themselves to the roof of ur mouth and every other part of ur mouth, this snack is more than acceptable by the Gods.

Look the Gods swear by wedges so dont try and denounce their raw power.

Btw, would those chips be those ones that have been floating for a good hour, before being covered in salt and vinegar? Despite the fact that my heart starts to clog as soon as i enter such a chipper, i approve whole-heartedly.

There better be some mayonaise in those crisp and cheese sambos!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,275 ✭✭✭Shinji

Dear god yes, pig in a blanket. mmmmmm.

I'll go with whoever said chip butties with mayo, too - big fat chips, dripping with grease, in warm french bread with lashings of mayo on. Top.

It has to be said though... there isn't much that can beat either a proper steak and chips, or a full Irish breakfast. And I do mean FULL.

This isn't/wasn't a topic on food of the Gods, but rather food of the drunks.... which is just as acceptable, and I'd have to agree with Castor.... pig in a blanket is the way forward, as well as crisp sandwich with cheese, and whatever other mad things you can find to whip in there too

I'd like to add Curry Flavour Koka Noodles to the original list aswell.
Oh, and Battered Bounty Bars. Saw that Nigella Bites bird do it on the telly, and then proceeded to fuk up the deep fat fryer at work one day at the restaurant that i worked in. :)
