Right guys, two things here which slightly annoy me, but which I probably just haven't looked hard enough to solve...

Xp Pro, using classic theme, how do I stop the Start Menu from hiding the lesser-used programs? It's minor, but it annoys me to have to click on the bottom to expand the list.

And the second.....how do I stop it abbreviating the names of files? Yes, it's petty, but when I have a list of files, it's annoying to have to click on each one to view the full name.

    :)

    Right Click Tasb Bar
    Click Start Menu Tab
Click Customize option for classic start menu

Scroll down the list and UNTICK use personalised menus.

    that should sort it :)
