I'd like to up the repeat rate of things in the console (safely) and I'd like to change the changing between virtual consoles from ctrl+alt+fn to alt+fn.

    Muchos Gracias.

I usually run OpenBSD on sparc, so maybe not the best person.
I have set up everything since 2.8 on at least one intel box though.
First stop should be man wsconscfg.

Once you can do what you want from the command prompt,
you can set the variables in /etc/wsconsctl.conf

There's been a lot of changes in the i386 ws console over the last year and a half, so some things you'll read may be out of date.

Yeah I remember mucking about with two of the values in wsconsole.ctl and rendering the console totally non-typeable...

    *bump*
