Should you be interested, RTE Radio 1 are broadcasting a Gay Byrne interview with Neil Armstrong (first man on the moon) tomorrow morning (Wednesday) after the 9am news. The interview was recorded at the National Concert Hall in November of this year, it was supposed to have been extremely interesting.

Normally the Pilot (Aldrin in this case) is first out of a spacecraft, but in this case, due to the door opening inwards and to the left, and Aldrin sitting/standing on the left, Aldrin would have had to slip in between Armstrong and the door, which wouldn't have been easy in those suits. In the end Armstrong simply went out first, and Aldrin became the eternal runner-up.

That's because they're sick of being heckled about it everywhere they go. How would you feel if your greatest achievement in your entire life was mocked and called a hoax?

its all american hype if you ask me, what the point of being a conspirecy theroist if you dont conspire? thats why these people say these things because they have nothing better to do than to sit around and ruin one of man's greatest achievments (that and the slinky)

its all bullsh*t hypeif you ask me, as i said before i think they did land on the moon

The last time somebody knocked on Armstrong's door and asked him to clarify that the landings were a hoax, Armstrong decked him. And damn right too.

When asked about it, the people did not say anything about a hoax, they didn't imply it was a hoax - they jus wanted to talk about the moon landing! And Neil / Buzz still wouldn't talk about it.
