Hey, now that we've reached the end of 2003 (OMG, where did it go ) - what are your personal best bits of the year just gone?

Personally, doing Paris & Interrailling round Italy were brill, but Graduating (at last :) ) & the Grad Ball were definitely the best!

    A Happy 2004 to all :)

And here I mark my passing into a 4-digit post count! 1,000 posts and counting...

    It is what it's.

I dont think bush actually said that, it was one of his hench men wasnt it? still, some superb American-ness there.

mine would have to be....erm, my gigs and the fact that i was able to quit work and live comfortably for a few months... sadly thats all coming to an end now, Im out of money and Im beginning to wonder if it was a good idea.... but hey, I enjoyed it, so thats all that matters i guess. No regrets......

My trip to Germany to see the girlfriend, and the resulting travel to France and Switzerland, as well as the beer.

Pity she dumped me a week after I got back, but the trip itself was good... :)

sounds like the right guy alright.....
I know that one of his henchmen announced it with that perticular phrase, maybe bush was so stupid that he couldnt think of a better way to say it later on.....
i cant remember the guys name, although i do remember that shortly after the announcement he said that he had been ambushed in Iraq and almost died or something

Getting to enjoy a very unexpected night of sex with a woman that I've had an interest in for some time but who always just seemed to want to be "friends". Even better was that she didn't rule out a repeat in the very near future. God bless beer! :D

Hmmm best part of my year was doing none of that.

    Best part,

Finding lots of random women to take home, having a couple of girlfriends I really liked, not getting engaged, not getting some young wan up the pole, and not becoming a father.....

To be honest, pretty average nothing really exciting happened.... nothing I can remeber anyway.

That's the highlight of your year? So you didn't get to have sex or travel round the world then, like the normal people here. :dunno:

best bits of 2003 were the last 6 months for me:

hooking up with an old friend and dating her for a while (by far and away the best part of 2003 for me)

learning to freekin relax a little and live life

getting laid for the first time in AGES!!

pre new years house party at my bro's place (dec 30th)

being introduced to FAT FROGS (my life will never be the same again - or my liver come to think of it)

and actually recently just realizing now at 24 what i want to do with my life (YYYAAAAAYYYY)

other cheesy stuff too that isnt really worth mentioning,
