Your answers show that you are a combination of Organiser, Thinker and Leader.

I'm a combination of all four: thinker, organiser, broker, leader

So this test tells you the obvious: I'm a jack of all trades, master of none!

"Your answers show that you are a combination of Handsome, Slick, Funny, Brainy, Witty & Cool."

    That test is very accurate.

You are a combination of all four of the main team roles.
    Leader

The leader co-ordinates team activity and makes sure that everyone has their say. This requires good negotiating skills, and at times, the ability to persuade others of a particular course of action. Skilled leaders make things happen by being extremely persistant and by energising other people

    Organiser

The organiser takes ideas and turns them into practical plans. This involves working out schedules and sticking to time deadlines. It is the organiser who makes sure that jobs get done and that the team is kept on track. The organiser is an energetic team member who is good at tying up loose ends.

    Thinker

The thinker is an individualistic character who comes up with new ideas. This involves imagination, good reasoning skills and the ability to 'weigh up the odds'. Many thinkers are also shrewd judges and are sought out for their views. Indeed it is often the thinker who is called upon to make difficult decisions.

    Broker

The broker is good at promoting team spirit and skilled at diffusing tension. The broker also likes to take new ideas and develop them, especially if this involves communicating with people outside the team. In short the broker is good at networking and keeping an eye on what other businesses are doing

    :D:D

    You have no specific strengths.

I disagree - I think it's a case of the whole being gratter than the sum of each of the parts.

    Hehe. I jest.

I hate all these aptitude related tests. I went through the last section again (I got Leader and Organiser first time round) picking what I thought were the "worst" possible answers (obviously this is often a matter of opinion but I think some of them are blatantly undesirable) and came out with Thinker and Broker. The persona adopted to get this result was lacking in confidence, shyed away from responsibility and certainly wasn't an ideal employee.

Well, I think that's a case of your bias on those questions. You were trying to pick the 'bad' answers so someone else might answer them with a more positive slant :)

Anyway it's asking how you work in a group, rather than as an employee, which is quite different. :o)

In alot of these tests, they will ask the same questions in different ways to get a more accurate answer.

I got a combo of all four.

Not really. Example: 'I like to talk about new ways of doing things'. How can a '1' to this be construed as anything positive? A complete lack of innovation or initiative is a good thing? The same for: 'I am good at spotting mistakes.'

Point taken that this isn't to see how good an employee you are, but it is to see how you'd work in a team, and good teamplay may be a huge factor in someone choosing an employee. My point is merely that this test like so many has very little practical use IMO. Any punter with a high opinion of himself will do well and probably earn the tag of 'Leader', and any waster with no initiative or confidence will get the label of 'Thinker' or something equally p1ss-weak.
