Sex - after how many dates does it happen?

After how many dates do you usually have sex with a girl/guy the first time (suppose you meet the person in a pub/night club)?

A) First night after the club.
First date
C) Second date
D) Third date
E) 4th to 6th date
F) Anytime after the 6th date

Most of the time for me the case is B or C ...... is this a common statistic?

Can happen anytime from in the club to infinity.
A mate of mine was going with a russian chick for 4 months before anything happenend, which is fair enough, they're still together 4 months later and are flying out to Paris tomorrow for a week.
Sex too early in a relationship can doom it to failure.
There needs to be a non-sexual attraction there aswell...unless you're both nymphomaniacs.....

Well , I agree with what you say.... sex too early in a relationship can doom it to failure.... but when a girl clearly make you understand that she wants to go all the way with you after only 1-2 date it is difficult to make her wait. I believe it is easier for a woman to say "not yet" than for a guy, for different reasons.
But still, it happened to me to sleep with a couple of girls after 1-2 dates and to stay with them for sometime aftewards.

Tell your friend to be careful with Russian women, in the last 3 years I have been in 3 short relationships of a few months each with Eastern European girls, and everytime I thought she is "the one" everything ended in miserable ways....... the know how to lie very well :-)

Sex, I've had it the first time I've kissed a girl, and I've had adult relationships where it never happened. It's not a major issue with me in a relationship, there's lots of other fun things two consenting adults can do in a bedroom

It’s probably a misnomer to argue that sex too early in a relationship will doom it. In reality such a relationship was probably doomed either way, sex might have simply quickened it when it should have been left to expire naturally.

Beyond that it’s probably down to attitudes and market forces. People who are more cautious or conservative will tend to wait, while the more adventurous and liberal will get stuck in. Additionally if one lives in a society where premarital sex is a scarce commodity, you’ll wait. Yeah this whole 'dates' thing..does it have any relevance to us? I mean after the sixth date could mean a couple of weeks..or a couple of months. Time frames would have been better. I'd hop on the fence and say that there's no ideal time. I've slept with a girl on the same night we first kissed (I did know her for quite a bit previous to this) and I didn't think any less of her or lose interest in her. I can see how this may not be ideal though.

Ten months was a long time Phaxx, but then you were both relatively young. And if one or both is a first timer/quite inexperienced it's even harder to say what should be an ideal length of time before doing it, as there is none.

Dating is a stupid system that people who can't enjoy the flow of things and ejoy themselves do. Whatever happened to headin out with a few mates and bringing people along and having the craic. I wouldn't last long in just my company so I shouldn't expect anybody else to, we are really not all that interesting but in a group we can entertain and bond.

Besides the best realtionship are fought for, initially raked with emotional distress and drink and bloody awkward.

You can't possibly get to know the real her/him on a one-on-one basis out in some pizza express hole, when bought of ye will just try and project what you think the other will find (a) Interesting and (b) Attractive. Where as you can get to know the real person better and at an easier pace in social occasions(out with friends).
