Getting UTV in Ireland

I know that UTV is not carried on Irish Sky, but is there not an alternative method of getting it, by getting a UK card or something like that. Is it still possible to pick up UTV with a rooftop arial or does that method no longer exist.

Basically I want to be able to get UTV and CH4 without having to cough up to Chorus for the privilege.

    Where do you live ?

Recieving signals from a rooftop aerial is highly dependent on your location.

What a very pleasant and helpful Christmassy attitude towards one who obviously hasn't found his or her way around the boards yet. Bah humbug indeed!

    Location?
Most of dublin will get some kind of reception of UTV or HTV via an aerial with an amp where an unhindered view to the north/northeast or south east is available and where it's possible to mount the aerial outside on a chimney .

Alternatively You can get someone in the UK to organise a FTV card for you.
Use the search button for details.

"UTV in Ireland" is a bit unfair to UTV.

They do make an effort to take an all-island approach on many things.
