If you're in dublin, most pubs only open until 6pm. City centre is very quiet too. Not much opens tonight. Outside the pale, a lot of niteclubs opened at 12.01 this morning!

    Cheeurs...

its amazing how many people cant last a few days without going to the pub... its a bit sad really that our society cant think of anything else to do with their time and money... but that discussion is for another day...

12:01? I was in a nightclub last night(as in the night of christmas day)at 11:30 and it was packed. So packed in fact it took me 5 minutes to get a pint. They had closed the cloakroom by that stage it was so busy. It opened at 11pm christmas day,it was advertised in the papers and all. However some clubs were closed last night-it must be a limited amount are given licence alterations or whatever for the night. All the pubs were shut here AFAIK.
It was a great night anyway so its good they do open. :)

The night club in carrick in monaghen was open at 10pm on christmas day!
wasnt at it so dont know if many were at it, but probably fair to say it was packed seeing as life seems to revolve around drinking these days.

anyway its the 26th now and i'm trying to get a taxi organised for tonight and there all booked out! damn bed for making stay in it too long!

i thought 5 minutes would be fairly fast for a night club. normally 10 minutes + :(

christ I went up to club 92 last night & it was jammed to the rafters, its strange that people were traveling miles to go to the pleace (its not even that good! but i live around the corner so its handy for me) I saw loads of taxis from Bray unloading the teaming masses out side...& quite a lot of them were turned away as they weren't regurlars like myself...I just don't see the point

what i couldnt understand is that,
to become a regular, you have to be able to get in first,

why wont they let people in that would like to become regular's?
