More Flexable Booking sites?

I'm not sure if I should have started another thread for this but feel free to add it into the sticky.

I've been looking at the booking sites sticky and I noticed that most of them are very specific about the dates of arrival and departure.

I'm looking for a site that will allow me to find flights as cheaply as posible, in and around the dates I've available. Flexiblitly is key. I would sooner spend the money I've saved on the flights on an extra night or two wherever I'm flying to.

Any ideas? Or would I be better off going to a travel agent with this type of question?

Just enter in different dates a few days before and after your original date, most of the offers will still be valid.

Yeah, but... I'm lazy, and there should be more facilities available for folk like me :) Seriously, there are too many combinations to be checking them all out.

And ASTRACLUB, what flexibility are in the links you posted. They seem to offer the fixed dates that are in the links in the booking sites sticky

    ok:---
    1. www.expedia.co.uk and www.expedia.com show different price option as .com is a US site, .co.uk os for uk and shows a cheaper price option. everything is damn fine and i actually booked ticket thru them but got a mail that they will not accept Credit Card which is not having UK billing address, on contacting them they say that they can deliver the ticket to NORTH and they will not deliver to SOUTH IRELAND (strange to here SOUTH IRELAND instead of IRELAND or REP. OF..) anyway my booking was cancelled.
    2. www.Travelocity.co.uk and www.travelocity.com are SABRE GROUP of company and the difference is same as above i.e. US website and UK website. and they are actually a very good one, the facility are--you can hold your ticket, and once you are holding or selection, you have chance to book the seat no also which is not with otherwebsite, they accept IRISH CREDIT CARD and also deliver to IRELAND. when i was almost buying the ticket from them, i was prompt to press "OK " button fo £10 GBP for the delivery (for 2 tickets, it would be £20) so i thought lets try others.
    3. www.e-travel.ie is also a very very good website but they charge EURO 15 as surcharge on every ticket purchase so that would be 30 euro extra.
    4. www.yahoo.com and www.yahoo.ie is also a good website for flexible dates and they are actually associated with www.ebookers.ie or www.ebookers.com no further comment on this as sometimes it is very cheaper and sometime very costly.
    4. http://www.virgintravelstore.com/ is very impressive and the quptation was also cheaper, on buying ticket i was told that there would be £4 GBP delivery charge for each ticket but i was not charged for delivery and got the ticket within a week of delivery. and that was amazing in terms of customer service.

anyway in above all you can change the dates in all website once you get your first selection, just change the dates on right or left hand side and press search again, mind you that ticket rate changes every day so always start searching atleast 10 days before and keep going till 10 days and then select the best .....

i finally bought from Virgintravelstore. last but not the least, you can also check www.ba.com as they are also very good sometimes (SOMETIMES only)

    regards

    DON

Go to a Travel Agent ! I had the same problem and went into one let them do all the work ! most of them nowadays book on the web anyway and only charge about €20.00 extra.
It ended up I saved about €100.00 cause the Travel Agent found out when the cheaper flights were available when I couldn't !
