While on that note, has anyone got the Sagem MyV65 camera phone? It's Vodafone only I think. It seems pretty good value at €179

The Sagem MyV65 is a lovely phone. The screen is a lot bigger than most other phones, with excellent camera quality. Light enough, with good, solid buttons and an easily navigable menu.
Personally waiting until after Christmas to get one

My brother wanted to get Soul Calibur two days ago there, at the time he didn't have the €50 on him so he went in the next day (Christmas Eve) and found that Smyths had to reduced the game to €30! I'm thinking that retailers did poorly this Christmas and will be looking to offload their wares with some real and meaningful reductions this year. Having said that though, Virgin was thronged with people Christmas Eve snapping up the latest album releases for €20-€22 a pop. Those prices looked even more inflated than usual.

Komplett don't advertise a sale, instead they just lower their prices on all items that they still have lots of stock of!

They have some nice special offers as welll this week!

The camera is crap, you may as well buy a pretty phone and a nice digital camera. I mean I'm constantly using the camera but I think I'd like a better one now

Was at the sales yesterday and today, what a bloody rip off! I got a pair of boots that I saw in Belfast for €80 (normal price, not in a sale), for €90 in Korkys' "sale". Although that isn't as bad as Schuh, who were selling the same ones for €110 in THEIR "sale"!!

We are SO ripped off here. It's gotten so bad it's cheaper to shop up north, even taking into account travel expenses and the exchange rate.

Sales are bloody headwrecking, as is waiting in line in brown thomas for about an hour, then the person doesnt buy the things, jesus. If I waited in line that long I'd buy the shaggin things just on principle.
