Is Knights of the old republic available on PC yet ? My sister is walking around town trying to find me a chrimbo pressie and thats what I'd like.

God yeah. about 2/3 weeks. Just can be a bit hard to find.

Only place i could find it in limerick was PC world which is outside the city.

Try an out of the way shop- usually have a copy or two because most people are too lazy to go there!

was very disappointed with this. For some reason, the disk I received for the XBOX, kept crashing and locking up. Did a google on the web, and found it was a common fault, so after getting 5 hours of gaming stuck in, and being unable to load my saved game, I returned it.

What I played was great though....

Thats very strange!! I have never experienced anything like that and i've had it since it was released on the xbox.

I know of a bug in the us version where if you leave the ship in stealth mode, it crashes but thats the only bug i know of. Haven't experienced any yet though.

Got it from play.com on the PC when it was released. The first hour or so is fairly boring but it does get better. Hopefully i'll make some decent headway with it over christmas

same goes for me, has crashed once or twice in the 4 times ive completed it for the xbox...

fantastic game, although just goto the post on KOTOR before as i cant be bothered to rant on how good it is

twas a real pain in the nutz. As soon as I booted the game up, it froze on the intro, rebooted the xbox loads of times before I could see the intro. Preceded to play it, but with caution, so saved the game pretty regularly. Got to the sewers part, saved it, had a battle, got beat bad, loaded saved game, and it just froze on the blue bar, left the game like that for an hour just to see if it would work. No joy. Tried it a few days later. No Joy. So brought it back to game and got Project Gotham 2. Didn't want another copy of the game, in case it was a bad batch. I saw a similiar person had a problem, it was in an Amazon review of the game, but you could only see the review, through a google cache of the page, haven't had any problems with the xbox itself, plus its only a month old.

Most of the problems I know of with KOTOR on the Xbox were, as far as I know, with the US version. The Euro one isn't without it's problems, but a lot better.
