Digital Camera for <€200 -Where to buy in Dublin?

    Hi, I have been requested(read:"ordered") to get my moms Christmas present for my sister - a Digital Camera for €200 or under.

    Given how close it is to Christmas, Im not gona have time to order online as it would not be here on time.

    So im looking for recommendations of where to buy in Dublin City(or any of the shopping centers outside it-Liffey Valley, Blanch, Square etc) as I have to go get it after college on Tuesday!

    Sp far on my list is:
    -Maplins
    -Theres some good place on Liffey Street apparently?

    And also, if anyone has any recommendations on what is a good camera in this price range.-Preferably something reasonably small, but decently spec'd(I reckon 2.0Megapixel is attainable at this price?), but at the same time, relatively straight forward to use so doesnt have to be jammed with features.

    The place on liffey street is called Pixels. Once you accept that you are going to be ripped off I would recommend:

    Dixons (Jervis Centre)
    Conn's Cameras (Clarendon St. - behind Brown Thomas)
    Camera Centre (Grafton St.)
    Berminghams (on the quays near Hawkin's Street)

    Maybe something like a Fuji FinePix A205s might be up your alley..

    Conns Cameras behind Brown Thomas has a very good selection, they should cater for something half-decent at your price.

    also try city camera on dawson street...i saw a case there that was a fiver cheaper than the same one in the camera centre (grafton st)

    Yup, I knew that going in! I ordered my own camera off www.ny-camera.com .

    Just back from town and: turned out thats exactly what I got!

    The FinePix A205s @ €199.99 in Pixels.

    Also looked in Dixons Jervis, Argos Jervis, Slatterys' on O Connel Street and the Sony Center(who have a nice 2.0 MP Cybershot I think for ~€270 which is better value imho as its MUCH smaller than the FinePix...but I was given a cap of €200 so...:( )
