    bochs is a free emulator available at
    http://bochs.sourceforge.net/
    people have been able to get windows systems working satifatorily, but it requires alot of work on your own part too :-( and im just sure someone here will be able to figure it all out!!!!

    havent got a mac powerfull enough to try this (333Mhz G3) but ill have an other box that is (dual Athlon 2Gz). i should have it running linux again in a few days (just to set my boot partition properly). ill give some help then. only thing is will bochs actually emulate windows xp? i know there was some sucess with NT4 and windows 95/8 but i havent heard any sucess with windows XP. if you really need windows xp, and bochs wont support it, try virtual pc from microsoft. that supports XP.
