There were rumours about sex-shops around Carlow.

The Womens Lingerie shop near the post office, yo go past the traffic lights, and turn right, just after the post office, but before Supermacs, down the alley, and to your left theres a Womens Lingerie shop.

Someone was saying to me that they sold sex toys. Nice, I told them, but do they sell decent porn?

Anyone know anything about it? :p ww) :p

I went into a sex shop once in dublin... never again.

I went in with a couple of the lads for the laugh to see what we could see. we browsed around looking at the mags and toys and whatnot, after a while when we were leaving, I walked out first, only to turn around and see that the lads weren't behind me, I stood briefly in the doorway, just enough time for a group of passing, giggling girls to laugh in my face for being a big sicko before re-entering the shop (making me look much much worse). the lads were talking to the shopkeeper about which of a couple of stroke books had the most ... errrr 'pink' in it. they both bought a filth mag each and left the shop without ridicule. there's no justice in the world!

    *sigh*

    I disagree.

Threads dont get closed for off-topic-ness.
    People get warned first.
    Then bannings ensue.
    Then the thread is closed.

Keep on topic please or your uppance just might come.

It's not actually in that order, the threads just get closed or deleted.;)

having had many of my threads closed in the past, i will say that warnings do come first unless i'ts pure spam

    Debs 3 Things.

Firstly, I can only speak for myself.

Secondly, I gave you a warning.

And thirdly, I'd suggest you make a point of being on friendly terms with all mods of boards you intend to post on, because while the Boards.ie admins discourage abuse of power, clerical errors have been known to happen.

What i don't understand is why the mods get pissed off or whatever over particular posts made by someone. unless they're completely racist/inappropriate, what difference does it make what's said on here? i mean isn't this boards.ie thing a bit of fun?

    no
it's a political ideal for a form of government - the only form ...
    A facist dictatorship
which is the perfect, and only true good form of government - which links to the sex shop thread because every facist dictator needs his sex shop, and supply of whips/wierd torture items, which can be obtained from places posing as sex shops.

    oooh like the torture museum?

Off topic, almost to the point of war-mongering.

    Thread closed.

If you wish to talk about something completely different to the topic of a thread, please create a new one.

    Consider this your final warning.

Also there is a shop called Temptations in Carlow, with a newspaper add telling of "adult toys", lingerie, etc, with plastic/glass see-thru models wearing such lingerie.
Its next to two barber shops, near the traffic lights next to the post-office.

Posting the exact same thread, a second time ...
Think it was viewed as trvial crap the first time, don't think a second version going to help.
