    hey, first time poster on this forum, wouldn't mind partakin in some of these so called competitions..

    from all the threads i've read, nothins really clear..

    when is there a snooker/pool comp to be held, and where will it be??

    how much to enter?
    prizes?
    how many frames etc?
    how can i put my name down?

    Well the pool comp seems to be postponed til after Christmas, I think there's a few punters who are going along the odd saturday to the Palace for fun pool and pints. Check the Events forums.

    I personally think that Fireworks on Pearse St would be a better place for a (small) pool competition, if we could rent 2 tables there for a monday or tuesday evening and whoever turns up we could have a mini tournament.

    The Palace would be a great place for a tournament of 20+ Boardsters as they've loads of tables and are open to bookings of 4 tables a go.
    Entry fee would be about a tenner, which would pay for table time as well as prizes.
    Rules and number of frames and all that is in the 'Pool Rules' thread.

    Not sure of the snooker competition, there's a thread on this forum about its details anyway.
