    from http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/3315519.stm
Keiko, the killer whale that starred in the film Free Willy, has died in Norway at the age of 27, 18 months after he was returned to the wild.

The six-ton whale apparently suffered a sudden bout of pneumonia in the fjord where he had been living.
    :(

i dont know how to break this news to my cousin who absolutely loved that black and white fiend. i better buy her some new fish or something for the aquarium.

That's sad news. The poor whale stuck in captivity for nearly a quarter of a century and then when he finally get's free he gets ill.
    Mother nature can be cruel.
