Do all/most Radio Tuners you can buy (as hi-fi separates) accept FM coaxial (?) input of the type that would come over TV Cable providers feed such as NTL ?

Sorry if this is a really dumb Q but I'm

I've yet to see a 'seperate' tuner box that does not accept a coaxial antenna FM signal. Not to have that input would kind of defeat the purpose of the tuner!

Usually the input is a male coaxial plug (its female on your TV and video inputs) so you'll need to get a back to back female adapter, or else pick up an F to female coaxial cable, which can be tricky to find. That is of course presuming that you are coming from your NTL splitter box (F-type screw on connection)

The frequencies that NTL put their radio stations on can be different from the FM broadcast frequencies. For example, 98FM is broadcast on FM 98.10, but on your NTL connection you need to tune to 99.00 to pick up this station. Full list of frequencies here
