the "burd" is thinking of bringing home a 10Gb IPod from the US.

How does that stand with the warranty?

you should be fine, my iBook is American and my iPod is from Hong Kong and Apple have repaired both under the warranty here in Ireland. Its a worldwide warranty you get so you should be ok

I bought my TiBook from the USA and my iPod from Ireland.
Got Applecare for the iPod couple of weeks ago in the USA.

Best bet is to 'phone Apple and ask.

All apple products have a worldwide warranty.
Applecare for the iPod is gonna be available in Ireland soon, should be around 50 quid, i'd advise ppl to get it, nice to be covered when the battery starts to go!
