Advice - Buying Online (And getting ripped off)

    Hello,

    Just wondering is there anyone out there who has bought stuff online and basicaly gotten completely ripped off?

    I was stupid enough to pay a couple of hundred quid into a bank account for something that I don't think is going to arrive. Anyone have any advice on what I can do?

    I have the guys bank account number and telephone number, but if things go all wrong I'm not too sure what good they will be to me to try and either get the item or my money back?!?!

    I might be over reacting, but I'm getting a little worried now, I totally rushed into the purchase and never thought about being careful or thinking anything could be strange about it until the day after when my money had been sent. Now the more I think about it the dodgier it looks to me! Fingers crossed, but just in case, anyone have any advice for me?

    Advice: Wait and see what happens. When you can confirm it has happened, you can tell us more details and then maybe someone can help you, but you can't expect any advice at present on something that may or may not happen, especially when we haven't a clue what it involves :)

    EDIT: It wasn't a Nigerian diplomat by any chance ?? :p
