Has anybody been watching the new comedy show on BBC 2 called Little Britain?
It started last week.. its really funny. George Daws from Shooting stars in is in it and another guy who was in Rock Profiles with him.

It sort of a cross between the Fast Show and The league of gentleman. it is well worth a look

Yeah, I saw one or two episodes on BBC Three, but glad to see it rerun on BBC Two as I missed most of the series.

The sketches remind a bit of Monty Pythons Flying Circus.

Did anyone see them interviewed on Jonathon Ross last Friday, they were very funny.
Matt Lucas (the bald one - "George Dores") was saying the fast talking girl sketches usually take 20 odd takes to get them right.

They were also hilarious in Rock Profile when they were on form. :)

    BTW
Anyone remember another short lived comedy show which included a skit of Depeche Mode and George Michael among other odd characters? The whole show was "filmed" on a island done in dodgy second rate CG.

Might have been shown on Paramount or C4/ E4 about 2 years back.

The League of Gentlemen is well worth buying. I have watched it on DVD so many times.

My favourite character has to be Papa 'you're my wife now' Lasaro.

Didn't see the first episode but saw it Monday, it was absolutely hilarious - the last line in the driving lesson sketch 'on your way you black bastard' (to the white bloke) had me in tears for about fifteen minutes.

    Quality surreal comedy :)
