Just wondering if it's possible to do this?

I basically want to be able to change the channels from my pc room and my bedroom and the digibox is located in the living room.

I've already got one setup and working. Do I have to split that line, or maybe add a different line to the back of the digibox?

Any help would be appreciated :)

    Thanks in advance

You could alternatively try using a Digisender which will allow you to relocate the signal to any room in the house without having to thread any cables around the place. If interested they are available in Maplin, or Argos

How about 4 TV links on 2 Digiboxes?!

Sorry to hijack the thread but this is sort of related to the topic:

I have a Sky+ and a regular Sky digibox connected to the main TV in the front room a 2nd TV in the kitchen and a 3rd in the bedroom and was wondering:

    1) Is is possible to use 2 Magic eyes - 1 to control each Sky box from the secondary TV's in the bedroom and kitchen?
Thats a total of 4 Magic Eyes running through 2 TV Link amps to the 2 digiboxes.

    2) Is it risky to do this? I don't want to fry anything in the TV with the extra voltage!

Hope that makes sense to someone :)

Hi Owen, you only need one remote eye at each location, global make a sky+/sky remote combiner which I am trying to source at present but i'm sure some Uk sites would have them now.

    Hi folks,

Double checked, I have 2 remote eyes combined in my loft using a simple Y splitter/combiner. This is then connected to RF2 on my digibox using coax cable. No fancy distribution amplifiers. All works perfect and no visible loss in quality.
