DivX Problem!

    Hope someone can help?
I downloaded the DivX codec and now for some reason I've lost audio when I try to play CD's or saved music tracks(from hard drive) on Windows Media Player.
Has the download screwed with my sound card settings??? It's a SoundBlaster 5.1 live card. Has anyone else experienced similar problems? All advice greatly appreciated.

with the absolute lack of any kind of information in your post I predict you will get zero help.

    More details required..

    Anything else you installed recently?

have you had a system crash recently? check your audio settings(in your audio card options) do you have 2.1 speakers? check that the correct option is chosen, volume

It seems strange that both your Wav and CD aren't working.
Are you getting any sound from the PC?

Like CyberGhost said, try the main system volume and speaker settings.

I reinstalled the sound card driver last night and that did the trick. Although the audio sounds a bit tin-ny now, I'll mess around with the equalisers and see if that might improve the sound.
