Bowie's last words in Dublin "Good night Dublin, we'll see you next year, and THAT'S A PROMISE!!!". It has been announced that Bowie will be playing the Isle Of Wight
and T IN THE PARK festivals next summer so its looking like he could be headlining a festival here too next summer, we'll wait and see i suppose.

I was at the Bowie gig in the point, the dude rocks live.
I mean, this is a chance to see a legend in action.
    Go see him!

It could be the Carling Weekend either, which promises to be just a little better than Witnness has ever been going on the strength of past Reading/Leeds Festival line-ups :D

Its very likely now that Bowie could headline Witnness since the T in the Park festival twins with it.

Much, much better than David Gray anyway.

Muse are now added to the T in the Park bill. Thats two likely headliners there.

it can't possibly happen. Bowie is playing the Saturday night at T In The Park and the Sunday night at the Isle Of Wight festival.

TITP and IoW seem to be twinned this year fully breaking apart the TITP & Witnness bond. Muse, Travis and the Manics are apparently playing the two festivals but Muse haven't mentioned anything about the IoW afaik so hopefully they will play Witnness

and it has been confirmed that the darkness have been asked to headline the sunday night at TITP so Muse won't be headlining anyway

the only way it could happen if hell freezes over and witnness becomes a 3 day event, or Bowie switches to friday night in the IoW(very doubtful)

Ah, now I see. I thought the Isle of Wight festival was held in the middle of June. That kinda screws things up. And what about the Manchester Move festival? Thats also held at the same weekend as T in the Park/Witnness.

I'd say Muse probably kept Ireland kept a headlining show off here to play a 2004 festival. And The Darkness to headline? I like them an' all but are they really that big?

I think MCD should move the festival so that it twins with Glastonbury (June 25/26-27) so that it gets out of all the crap. Granted, there'd be competition from Rosklide, Rock Wertcher, and St. Gallen, but the first two are four day festivals anyway so theres enough room to squeeze in there. It would just make a better lineup.

I don't think Muse are a headline act, well certainly not a main stage headline act anyway.
The Darkness are announced to be playing T in the park now aswell, they would rock a festival i think!!
