    anyone know any good links for tweaking the last out of the ould 56k....or will it really make a differance???!!!

    if yer on a not great line
    in extra init strings put
    S11=50
    Tells modem to use higher frequency

    although 56k's in my opinion are basically a waste of time nowadays, but i suppose you could tweak away until your hearts content :)

    think this is the old tweak guide i used when i wanted to tweak my old modem for internet play, although that was over 3 years ago
