I'd recommend Sony & the Power City website has a good range & has the prices on it.

BTW this should be in the Home Entertainment forum.

Yes I'd say Sony or Panasonic will see you right! I did hear that Toshiba are pretty good though I don't see too many about so cannot comment much on reliability.

I hate Sharp, Thomson Group, and any of those rebadged Turkish tellies.

@celticfc: sorry didn't see home entertainment section, only found 'Television' and 'Bargains' or 'For Sale'.

    Thanks, will check that section.

Sanyo are quite a good brand, easily as good as Philips.
And yes, philips are one of the best brands you can buy (We get very little faulty Philips Returns)

The New 32" Flat Screen 100hz is amazing.

I just got a Panasonic 32PS12 Tau TV, the 100hz flat screen one and it is AMAZING. 1380 notes in Dixons.

The top of the line Toshiba and Panasonic both have component in connections for the best possible quality DVD playback. Online both will cost you roughly EUR1700-1800 from a UK dealer.

Panasonic have opened a store in Limerick last week so I must check out the prices in there.
