bbc3 thru sky in waterford...?

is it possible to tune in bbc3 thru my sky digital box in waterford using the
information on the following link www.bbc.co.uk/reception/dsat_add_all_channels.shtml

or would i be just wasting my time...?

Look at the Sticky thread at the top of the page. You can tune in all of the BBC channels.

Just to let you know there are lots of BBC radio channels that you can access too. If you like news,talk and sport Radio 5Live is very good. Finally if you connect your digibox to your hifi if (you have one) its well worth the effort for the sound and you can listen to the radio side of things with the TV off!!!
PS Try this link for all the BBC TV and Radio!!!

nice one....tuned in like a dream..cheers..and the radio coverage will come in very handy i'd reckon for future footy games ... is there any other hidden gems tha can be accessed..?

toonarmy - get yourself a free to view card from the UK and you then will have ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5 via your sky box. All you need is an address in the UK (relation, friend, friend of work colleague) whose address you can use. You can order from here yourself. You can then watch the geordies in the UEFA cup on Channel 5 in the New Year!!

For the FTV card www.free2view.tv read it, then the rest is in your hands.
Radio 5Live have the best commentators. EG next year when watching F1 if you do? try having the RTE picture and the sound from Radio 5 to me thats heaven.
In the past when I lost Radio 5 via satellite I used watch F1 on the local channel with sound down and the audio of Radio5 on AM in the background.
If you like talk radio consider Mon-Fri ch 927 at 10pm Clive Bull, great broadcaster!!!

whats the story in ordering these cards..i have someone in england for the address
situation but on the site
they ask questions such as:

In order to request a replacement card online via this website you must:
apply before Wednesday 31 December 2003, and
be a residential customer
hold an existing P1 viewing card. To check what type of card you have please click here.
If you do not hold a P1 viewing card please call 0870 054 1800.

whats a P1 card and what should i state re: owning one or not...?

You don't have a p1 card. (these are the previous versions of these free to view cards) You cannot order online you need to ring the number on the website and say you want to order a new FTV card. Make sure you dial 141 before your dial their number so your number does not come up. Then just give them your full address in the UK and make sure you have the postcode right.

To order a totally new card you press option 3 when you ring the number.

When you eventually get the card via your uk friend you will have to ring back to get it activated giving your digiboxes serial number , software version number etc.

the way things are going seamusd and the rumours bout smith ... you might as well support the toon as half of them will be playing for us........anyway arn't ye being bout by some arab millionaire...? wish someone would buy us and pump millions in,
as for chelsea....anything they achieve from here on in will be seen as empty success..sure pump a 100 million into grimsby and they'd win all round them also!!!!
