Xbox emulation

    I've come to the conclusion that my PS2 is a diabolical platform for emulation so I was thinking of getting a chipped Xbox instead. The main systems I'm interested in are Genesis, SNES and Mame. So are there emulators of the quality of GENS, Zsnes and Mame on the xbox? Will the snes emulator run weird games like star ocean? and is there 32X and MegaCD emulators on the xbox.

    In case your still wondering.

    The emulation of the systems your interested in seems to be perfect on the Xbox. I haven't tried Mame but I've tried the other two and they're perfect. Some people say that the Snes emulator is even better on the Xbox than the PC (dont hold me to that though :D )

    These are the emulators recommended for the systems you want:
    Mame: MAMEoX
    Mega Drive: Xenesis or NeoGenesis
    Snes: xSNES9x

    never heard of star ocean and don't have a copy so i dunno about that - but there's an xbox version of snes9x and gens - both work great for me :) mame is supposed to be grand but there are limitations due to the 64mb of ram in the xbox

    any other games you'd like checked - mario kart and super bomberman work great :D

    there's rumour of it - but i haven't seen anything concrete - you normally don't til they come out

    I have the Killer instinct emulator for the xbox,


    Works on a brand new exploited (non chipped) xbox.

    Finally !! with great pleasure present the ultra combo fighter of one of the best fighting games ever made, only ever emulated on pc, until this last 2 weeks and for console were only ever released on snes and n64, which both console formats didnt do the game any justice.
    Emulation works perfect on Killer Instinct 1, and on 2 there is a some slight slow down, but nuthin that spoils gameplay ;)
