cameras in the point?

i wanted to bring my small pocket size digital camera into the point with me and was wondering if they would take it off me on the way in because it does say on the back of the ticket no cameras allowed. mind you i always see people with them in the venue. any ideas?

Yeah you're grand, the security guards don't give a sh1t about cameras, i've been to loads of gigs there with a camera and never have I so much as had a word said to me about photos

Normal cameras are never a problem. it's camcorders they don't like, for obvious reasons!
