    Hey guys,
    Maybe you can help,

My friend is going to the states tomorrow and i need to know whether to give him the cash to buy an mp3 player.

Only problem is the power supply.

Supposedly the label on the US ac adaptor reads :

    "The label reads...

    AC - DC ADAPTOR
    Model: SW10-S050-10
    Input: 100-240 V~
    350 mA 50/60 HZ
    Output: 5V - 2A

Then it has some polarity indicators and other symbols...
    "

    1. Will i need a big heavy transformer to use this over here.
    2. Or will i just need the US adaptor plus a 'travel' type converter?

Ps supposedly the adaptor is current adaptive - i presume this is the 100-240V thing

    Thanks a million
