Mods: In right forum? No idea! Feel free to move!

Hi! Here I am again on the night shift in the office, on a dark cold night and it got me thinking....

Has anyone here ever seen a ghost?
Do you know anywhere that paranormal activites have happened?

I saw this forum (http://ghosts.meetup.com/members/878) and thought that would be cool. Woudl anyone else be interested in picking a place and having a look round. Bringing in some recording equiptment etc and seeing what we can find.

Or maybe its just a syupid idea!

Either way, anyone interested in doing this or anyone have any stories!

    Ian

That reminds me of Most Haunted, a TV proggy which is really cool.

Edit: I should really pay attention to my typing....

I've been scared by Ghouls n' Ghosts many a time. How Capcom could send you back to the start to play through the entire game a second time was just terrifying.

No, never, don't believe in them.

I know older people who do but that's because they have a pre-scientific mindset i.e. is they see something weord in the middle of the night, they'll think it's due to supernatural activity whereas i would attribute it to hallucination induced by tiredness/drugs/whatever.

..there was MONEY in that game?

If you played it at the arcade. I'm confident it bankrupted several multi-millionaires during its tenure. I've always hoped there was some incredible secret at the end that Capcom had tried to protect at all costs, by making it insanely difficult. Maybe the secret to Cold Fusion, or Time Travel, or something!

My Brother Saw a ghost or whatever you want to call it.
(This happeded probably 15 maybe 20 years ago)

It was in an old building in Dublin, that's now used as Gov offices. He was called by his name by the ghost, it said "Good morning peter", he said hello back, it was not a ghostly appearerce but like another person, he was 1/2 asleep at it was 6:30 in the morning, he turned around a split second later to say who the hell are you? and she was gone!

He never mentioned anything about it thinking... they'll all think Im MAD! But when 5 other people came out with it (saying the same thing), he came forward.

They had a mass/blessing, etc .. in the building. And apparently it was a nun that had died on the premises, in years gone.... it had went on fire.

He was told by the then Arch Bishop of Dublin, that if it happened again, the first words out of his mouth was to be .... "In the name of God".... whatever....

I've beaten it on mame with 1 credit (I'll be putting that in my CV). Theres no secret except it sends you back to do the game again except harder and when you've finished that you rescue a girl who looks like percy from black adder.

I'm open minded about this sort of thing. The story out the ebay haunted painting has always intrigued me. The painting itself just gives me the creeps never mind the story.

The full story and pictures are here http://www.bbc.co.uk/derby/unexplained/2002/haunted_painting/ebay_haunted_painting_01.shtml

I finished it. Cost me about £3,000 in 10p when I was in school. Used to play it every day after school. I downloaded the ROM recently and finished it for free. If only I knew then what I know now.
