Possible dates for the pool competition

Righto, with regard to the pool competition which we're trying to get together (check out this little thread right here) i randomly picked some dates about 2 weeks from now, so in case this is too soon or doesnt suit the majority ive done this little poll to see whos up for what date.

I've put the weekends and weekdays from here to christmas to see which would suit the best. The weekdays would prob be any bar tuesday night when the palace have their own pool competition so it might be difficult getting tables. So if you have a preference for the day just post it up. As to the weekends, same goes if you have a preference post it up there.

Any other suggestions then shoot away, personally id like to see us having this competition before christmas but hey thats just me.

I'd prefer it the sooner the better, have gone for 8th-12th, preference being for the weds or thursday evening.

Coming up to Christmas everyone is going to be going out during the week, work parties, family stuff, so its never going to suit everyone especially the closer you get to Christmas.

Even if we only got 20 Boards.ie names down, I'm sure that there could be a few mates dragged along to make up the numbers.

2nd-4th would be grand as would 8th-11th.

Seems to be a thing best suited to weekdays as most people will have their own stuff to do most weekends that time of year.

The weekends would be more suitable for me too, especially in the next few weeks.

Looks like the mods/organisers are just going to have to set a date and whoever can come will come, whoever can't will have to come to the next one.

If its not organised sooner rather than later it won't happen before Christmas, no date is going to suit everyone and we could talk about it for weeks!

Got to agree with this. Dakeyras picked a date a good while back - just have the tourney then and have another in january and so on, if we get it started while it still has some momentum it's more likely to become a regular thing where everyone gets a look in at some stage.

Could alternate weekends and midweek to suit all the kids?

Tell you what, we'll wait until the end of the week, then go with whatever is tops on the poll, looking like its going to be during the week of the 8th - 12th at the minute so id say thurs night probably the best as well. So lets give all the chaps time to stick up their vote for a date then with the date final we can see just how many we have going for it.
