I'm mean't to fly to london this sunday for a gig,my passport is out of date so i went to get a usit card, you only need a valid id to fly between the uk and ireland.I go in with the form filled out and stamped in the appropiate place by the office in my course.Anyhow they say i need a letter stating i am doing the course and has to be stamped as well, however i rang the office and there was no answer.Myonly hope is that tomorrow it's open so i can get a stamped letter or else i'm ****ed.Which means €200 euro down the drain and my friend ****ed over due to myself being a procrastinating)thats so spelt wrong) git

Why don't you go to the police station and get a national age card they are accepted now as far as i know of if you have a driving license either ?

I'm not too sure if the USIT office is open tomorrow, but why don't you try and get the U26 card as apposed to a USIT card. I'm not sure if you will need a birth cert for it but it's worth a shot.

Are you sure Ryan air won't accept an out of date passport as id?

It is an unforge-able id after all you should ring them and see.

The fact that it's out of date shouldn't matter for GB/IRL travel??

Just to clear one thing up..... there is no legal requirement for an Irish citizen to need ID for travel between the ROI and the UK

These countries have a common Immigration policy

The "problem " is with the transport providers

    Just so u know
