I'm aware that Astra 1, 2 , Hotbird and turksat are the most commonly viewied satellites, but are there any others that are worth pointing your dish at????

with this in mind, is it recommended to purchase more than on dish/LNB or get a motor??

    Thanks, MONKi

Why not look here. if you click on a satellite name you can see what they have to offer. If you click on the name of a TV or Radio station it usually has a web site. For example if you click on 16 degrees east you and then click on TMF you get this although in dutch you can see thats a music video channel. Its all down to taste and what you're into, take your time to look around. If you really get keen you might consider a cheap motorised system. Mine cost about 100euros to set up that is minus dish. . I hope I've been of help!!!:) :):)

    Thanks Greenman.

I read in one of the posts that with multiple dishes and LNBS youll get about 550 channels and with a motorised system you can get up to 1100. Is this true? If so, what equipment do you recommend for the motorised setup?

    Thanks again lads

    Hi Monki,
Recommend well thats a hard one as with cars most of the things they make these days are fairly good.
I have a Humax 5300,a 12 inch Jaeger acuator and a simple polar mount ,a Super Power Jack positioner and Triax 110 cm dish. With that I can move from 30 degrees east to 45 degrees west
If you start here you can read till your hearts content.
If you want more info you can PM me.:) :):)
