    Hey Folks.

    Bit of advise needed.

OK, bout three months ago I decided to do something about the aul bod. So I've been using an old aerobic rider I think they are called, the company seems to not exist anymore so I can't give links about it, the description however seems to be similar to this: Argos link

Anyway problem is, after 3 months of an hour a day the thing decided to collapse (one of the welds/joints snapped). (maybe why ye can't get info on it anymore :) )

Its seems to have been working as I'm starting to tone up and I've lost about a stone.
So are these machines the way to go ? specifically the Argos link above? or should I be thinking a rowing machine?

About 6 foot, 15.5 st now. probably targeting the stomach backside area, plus weight loss.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

Oh, yeah those who are going to reply, "join a gym" yup have looked into that. Just can't really afford the fees at the moment, I hopefully will come next Feb/Aprill

    Cheers
    Simon

wots up,, why dont ya try buying a bicycle, it'll probably be a lot more fun and ya can cycle around with friends etc,, i plan on takin up cycling soon enough, i have a friend who's big into it so we're gonna start cycling up the mountains to places like glendalough(excuse the spelling) gettin up there will be a bitch but the fun starts on your way back down when ur goin up to 50mph without even cycling(this may be a slight exageration(spelling again)),, :D

    Heya Newband,
    Cheers for the reply
Yeah got a bike alright, use it now and then.

I actually don't mind/prefer the exercise machines. Was murder at first but I got meself into a routine.

Need to get the fitness up to a decent enough level, so I can actually go for a decent cycle :)

I would forgoe such cheap exercise equipment and instead look at circuit training at home instead.

Some gyms are weekly and about a tenner.
