So what new show at the moment do you think deserve another series, It will prob be more useful when we get new shows from the states in the coming months.

But mine for the moment are:

    1. The Clinic (RTE)
    2. Boomtown (NBC, and its looking worrying)
    3. CSI Miami (CBS, I know its already got a new series)
    4. The Panel (N2, or something in that line)
    5. Close Encounters with Keith Barry

I will think of more in the coming months

Elmo, sorry to tell you but Boomtown has been officially cancelled by NBC in the States. I agree with you on your other choices though!

Trevors World Of Sport - BBC1 mucked this about as they
put this on the wrong channel to start with (it had BBC2
    written all over it).

Your face or mine : 2 series shown on e4.
Bo Selecta : 2 series made, another comissioned.
Book Group : second series shown already, not sure about a third.
South Park : seventh series made, showing in US now. Time for it to end IMO.

    book group is excellent
would also like to see a new series of Spaced, but it doesn't look likely at this stage.

'Dead Like Me'. The pilot got a very lukewarm reception from what I can tell but I stuck with it and I have to say its grown on me to the extent that I don't miss an ep now.

Will they be making more of these or did it get canceled in its first season?

i always thought "god, the devil, and bob" was quality tv. also liked black books quite alot.

maybe the office, although it did start to get annoying towards the end.

Does anyone remember Jam a few years ago on C4 with Chris Morris? surreal but at times hilarious there was never a second series.

Yes, it is a good programme but the pilot was a bit weak.

There are only 14 eps in series 1, so only 4 left.

There will be a second series, although it is scheduled for summer '04 in the US so September is the earliest it will be seen here.

Sadly there is NO chance of that returning. In the States
the network that screened it had to pull the show after three episodes due to pressure on advertisers by the religious right.

Went up against WWTBAM? sure who would have thought it would get no viewers.

But AFAIK it is or will be cancelled in the States ... another great show canned by fox

    Jeremiah and Miracles

There won't be a 3rd series of Jeremiah (probably) and Miracles was cancelled in the States after 6/7 episodes even though they had another 6/7 episoded in the can. It's a pretty good paranormal programme. It probably won't be ever shown over here but if you can get them from other sources I'd recommend it.

I missed Miracles coming to TV3. I was looking out for it as well. Are you sure it's the same show I'm talking about. It stars Skeet Ulrich and Angus McFadyen.Skeet Ulrich was on his way to becoming a priest but now investigates miracles and other strange occurences.
