X1 problem (mms)

    my friend bought an X1 yesterday, nice little fone, similar to GX10i, swivel camera is a nice feature.

    anyway, problem is he cant send mms, must have something to do with the phone settings? go to send an mms and it come up with an error message. cant figure it out anyway. anyone any ideas?

    The handset would have been pre-configured already..

    I am guessing it is a problem with how he is set up on the network. He will need to be enabled for GPRS on the network and also given the correct APNS to access whatever services.

    There goes me disagreeing with you again haha. Messing :p

    cheers, yeah the settings do all seem to be their, ip adress, port number etc.. so you just have to register for gprs then?

    I am guessing she is using an existing number. Just a matter of calling O2 and they will activate both the GPRS and MMS services on her account. If its a new number, same thing applies.
