Why is it that we only see those little people in the corner of the tv screen 'signing' for the benefit of the deaf late at night and in the early hours?

    I can never understand that.

So they can record it using videoplus and watch it the next day?

Like the college things I'd assume.

    Oh, i see.

That's nice of rte/bbc/tv3/itv/ch4 etc. I wonder do deaf people have an amnesty for their tv license so as to be able to accomodate a video plus situation.

I'm sure there would be plenty of complaints if there was a person signing in the corner of the screen for every program.
Also, most programs have subtitles anyway.

I'm not disputing anything, i just find it curious.

I betcha deaf people would have a gripe.

Also, maybe it needs a new thread but, i wonder if blind people get into the zoo for free.

Yes it would do my nut if there was some bint in the corner gesticulating like an epileptic spider every time i sat down to watch say, 24.

No neither blind or visually impaired people get into the zoo for free everytime me or me sister went there we had to pay.

you can go on the boat in dingle for free if the dolphin does not show up so theoretically blind people could go free on that if they didnt see the dolphin
