Watched this again on sky tonight, it was a lot better than I'd remembered in the cinema, apart from the love scenes which were still DIRE:( The light saber fights were class and the little hints by the characters about future events were pretty cool aswell. I'm actually starting to look forward to episode 3

Better than the first one but not really that good, yet again it was saved by Obi Wan.

The love scene's really annoyed me in that film......... actually anakin generally annoyed me in that film :/

Apart from anakin it was a good film, but then every scene he was in, whineing as usual, I just had to urge to kill the person beside me.

Anakin was indeed an annoying whiney brat, but surely that was intentional?

I really like EP2 and I loved it when it came out, 'twas a breath of fresh air after Phantom Menace (which I do like also). I'd have to say Hayden Christensen really gets on my f*cking t*ts now though, he's so Sh*te:mad:

I started watching this, but then I remembered Jar Jar was in it, and that Hayden Christensen is a spa, so I watched Die Hard instead. :D

Attack of the Clones is alright I suppose. I've never even fully watched the Phantom Menace. And now, I can't watch the original trilogy any more because Lucas decided to edit it and in doing so, wrecked it.

    - Is that Christensen flute going to be in the next one does anyone know? It would have been a much better film with a good actor in that role. Lucas has messed up IMO. Clones had its moments for sure (the planet where the Clone army was devloped + ensuing fights + chase), and some of the casting was spot on - Lee and Jackson('this party's over' ha ha). However, unlike in the original 3, I don't think the audience cares enough about the central characters, they are too superficial and at times immature. The dialogue also is stilted (especially Portman's uppity Queen Elizabeth style), and the CGI still too gimmicky at times.
I will go see the final film when it comes out, but I can wait.

    Neil

"Lucas is now a crap director"

to be honest the best of the original 3 (empire strikes back) wasnt even directed by george lucas...which could explain abit.
