Anyone have any recommendations for a dentists in Dublin? Or ones to avoid.

Preferably someone who's nice, clean, does a tidy job and doesn't charge a fortune.

    It is what it's.

    Hi.
My dentist is really nice and very good. His name is Tony Connellan and his place is on Rathmines Road just around the corner from Rathmines Garda station and opposite what used to be the Esso station. There's a big boulder in the front garden with a plate on it with his info. Thing is, it's a private dentist so it's kinda costly but it's worth it.
I don't know any other ones but shop around!

Micko, behind the Rathmines Tesco, pair of rusty pliars. Cheap as **** though.

I got to Dr. Peter Cowan just opposite the RDS on Merrion Road. I've been going to him since I was about 12. He's got a lovely manner and is very good. He took my wisdom teeth out recently and did a great job, no swelling, no bruising and great drugs!

Eamonn Croke, just off nassau street (up by reynards). Lovely clean place and he actually talks to you about what he thinks and what you can do.

What about price ? Supposidly Irish dentists are great for over charing and not having any sort of consistent pricing among themselves.

Eg 20 euro for filling with dentist 1
80 euro for filling with dentist 2
0 euro for filling with Lex Diamonds

That's a good question. My guy here in Cork charges E80 for a anterior (white) filling and E60 for a posterior filling. How does that compare with other dentists?
