Working visa for Austraila ???

Hi ,ive been on to the au embassy and they have told me that im to old to get a working visa for a year,im 31 :(,but anyway the nice lady on the phone told me the best she could do was multi travel visa,my ques is,does anyone here know or heard of a way of getting the working visa under any special circumstances,also…

Have no info, I'm sorry, this is completely OT, but I just had to say it took a little while for me to realise you meant cash-in-the-hand jobs. I thought you were looking for some kind of really alternative work there!
