Noticed on Channel4 this morning hat the message-of-death has returned.
Time to go get a new card....

Ye got it on ITV with a card beginning 097 so I put a card in beginning 103 and so far so good. This is a second generation pale blue card and it works with the box up stairs.
I'll let you know how I get on with my 103 card not sure when the final turnoff is???

I got my uncle to apply for the paid-for card and almost immediately the card I'm using has been 'cut-off'. So, just have to wait for the replacement card. Prety good deal really - about 30 quid for 2 years of ITV and Ch4
